This brings another set of challenges. Parking, access, lifts, and stairs to start with. Again, make certain the removalists company you hire to assist with your city move are experienced with the complexities of city moving.
As an example, city apartments require lift access. This usually means booking a lift and having the management fit the protective pads. Therefore, the timing of your move is critical. Unfortunately, many of these lifts are rather small and your king mattress may not fit. Subsequently, it will need to go via the staircase. How to save time and money

Pack all the boxes yourself. Although time-consuming, why pay the removalists when you can easily do it yourself.
Dismantle the furniture. There is a nice little saving to be made here. By disconnecting the washing machine, TV’s etc. and packing up the cords will save time & money. Dismantle your beds and remove the legs from tables is another nice little way to save time and money. Lastly, take a photo of each of these before pulling them apart will save you stress when it comes time for you to reassemble or to connect them back up.
