The Hard Working Removalists here at Brisbane Removalists
Let's Give Them a Break
Let’s face it, moving house is a huge deal. Everyone knows that there is so much to organize, yet so little time.
Packing, paperwork, and downsizing are only some of the hurdles, but worse still is the roller coaster of emotions involved as you leave what you have always known and move to your new home.
One of the reasons for such a high level of emotion on the day is the level of trust required in handing over your precious items to complete strangers and seeing them drive off into the dust with your life in the back of a truck.

High-stressed Clients and Our Hard Working Movers
Given this, you can imagine then, that the teams of young men that come to your home are often faced with clients under high stress. The guys are of course well aware of this and take it in their stride.
It is easy enough to understand, but it must be hard to have to face this daily and a certain level of emotional intelligence is needed to accept this and instil confidence at the same time.
Luckily, 95 percent of the time, people’s stress levels decrease when they realize that they have professionals in tow.
It does not take long to feel secure when you have an efficient, polite, and hard-working team of removalists, that shows great care.
Thank goodness, there are a good number of decent and hard-working removalist crews from reputable removalist companies out there. Yes, this isn’t always the case, and you may have ended up with a less-than-professional company.
However, sound research will help you avoid falling into this trap and Google reviews are a good place to start. You can catch ours here:
Rain, Hail or Sunshine, Our Removalists Turn Up.
But credit where credit is due to these hardworking removalists, who day in and day out, turn up come rain, hail or shine to move you.
It is terribly hard work physically but can also be just as hard emotionally when dealing with difficult and over-stressed people.
Please remember that your removalists are human too, and they do their very best to provide you with the best service they can.
During the hot months ahead, have a thought for the guys having to lug furniture for full days at a time.
Their bodies will need a pause from time to time, even though they choose to push through.
A five-minute pause for refreshment can do wonders for their energy levels and will result in a better and more efficient move for you.
A little kindness goes a long way and feeling appreciated is a wonderful motivator.
Mutual Respect Rings True in the Majority of Jobs.
Unfortunately, on rare occasions, our boys encounter people who treat them in a manner that they do not deserve.
We could excuse such actions by putting it down to stress, but please take a step back and put yourselves in their shoes for a minute.
It is difficult for them to not take it personally.
There is no excuse for belittling someone, asking them if they speak English, getting angry at them for things out of their control, pretending they have damaged something when it was already damaged, or just being a bully.
Luckily, these incidences are few and far between. However, for the most part, there is just an unspoken sense of urgency from clients pressuring them to go fast.
Removalists must pace themselves to get through such long days. They often have 2 or 3 moves in the day.
Constantly looking at your watch is doing nothing but adding pressure. Do not expect removalists to run, as they will either injure themselves or damage your furniture in the process.
They know how to pace themselves. We at Brisbane Removalists pride ourselves on our efficiency, but we do not achieve this by running and putting our guys in danger.
Injuries have a snowball effect and you do not wish to be the one on the other end, waiting for your removalist, only to get that last -minute call that the job has fallen through.
