Fridays are usually the busiest day of the week given it is often settlement day, so we were very lucky to have been able to manage this for you. Very happy we could. Moving is stressful enough without being let down last minute. I am sorry you had to go through this. We always try our very best to help out when this happens, and we have enough trucks normally to be able to, but it does take a bit of juggling before we can commit to the job while you patiently waited. I think you were amazingly calm given the circumstances. I am just glad we could get you settled. We moved you on 6 occasions over the last 8 months due to trying circumstances to say the least. You never once lost your positive attitude and were so wonderful to deal with the entire time. I am in awe of you, given what you had to put up with. Many would have crumpled. I now have a new mantra when having a tough day...what would Diane do? I feel I need to thank you, not the other way round. I am sure we will keep in touch. I am so happy that you now have your forever home. 🙂 Eileen

It is not the easiest of jobs trying to ascertain how long a move will take and how much it will cost. There are often so many variables that can make a move go either side of a ballpark figure. We do try and explain in detail, so there are few surprises for our clients. So happy the move went well for you and that you can now settle and put your feet up! Response from the owner: Hi Jeff, Thank you for your review. I have just hunted your booking down as I was a bit confused given, we had not moved you this week. I found your booking on the 21st of December. Your post has just turned up now. I am unsure if you posted it in December or now...sometimes Google has delays but not usually this long. 🙂 We are glad your move was good, and you were satisfied with our service overall. We are of course sorry for the delay, but unfortunately this is often out of our hands. Sometimes clients have way more than they say or, add more items or even a destination to the job not realizing that we have other jobs to go to. The boys do not like to say anything to the client. We cannot stop a job mid-run unfortunately and being late for the next job is the only outcome unless we have another team available to jump in. We do always try our best to keep you in the loop. This is, however, why we try to get as much information as we can from our customers to ensure that we keep on target and book accordingly. It doesn't always work but most of the time it does. Second jobs are always at the mercy of the previous job. Sometimes delays can be as simple as a lift breaking down, or it being too small to fit the furniture and we have to spend time taking furniture up the stairs, or that the client doesn't get the keys in time, or settlement is delayed. There are many reasons for delays, and we do our very best to work around them. Sometimes it can be a truck issue, or a delay at our end too. It is not always the simplest of jobs as one delay can impact more than one job. Every day there are new adventures...new solutions to find. 🙂 The one thing we do and have always managed is to ensure we move you regardless. We always find a solution.
